Advanced IT Consultancy Skills
The Advanced IT Consutancy Skills course, is a 3 day residential development programme that is a blend of theory and practical application with the use of actors in a roleplay practice environment.
Day 1 - focuses on the core communication skills needed to have a positive impact when building relationships with new clients and how to use Emotional Intelligence to mirror and match and develop rapport. Delegates are placed in pitch groups for the remainder of the course where they will go through a learning experience which is bought to life through practical roleplay with continuous feedback provided throughout the activities.
Day 2 - considers theory around how to extract key information during client meetings, and use specific consultancy skills and tools to really understand the clients’ needs so that you can go away and create a proposal to play back based on their requirements. Teams are challenged to create a proposal and present this back to the client through roleplays with feedback both on delivery style and also technical content.
Day 3 - delegates will have presented and polished their proposal content and also presentation delivery style over a series of client meetings, so that they can deliver a final playback to the whole group of learners. This is a great opportunity for each group to learn from the others and explore the different ways that the groups have approached the potential solutions for the client.
